Our History

Horme Hardware Pte Ltd was established through the restructuring of the well-known Homely Hardware Pte Ltd. While the name has evolved, our experienced team continues a legacy built over decades—growing from a humble neighbourhood hardware store into one of Singapore's largest and most trusted home improvement and industrial hardware retailers.

Recognising the future of digital commerce early, Horme Hardware launched its e-commerce platform in 2013, becoming one of the first companies in Singapore's DIY hardware industry to successfully integrate traditional retail with online shopping. Today, Horme Hardware Online has become one of Singapore's most visited home improvement and industrial supply websites, attracting over 100,000 monthly visitors and serving customers nationwide.

Continuing our digital innovation, Horme Hardware became one of Singapore's first hardware retailers to support B2B PunchOut procurement in 2022, enabling seamless purchasing through enterprise procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa & SourceSage.

"Horme" and "Horme Hardware" are registered trademarks and among the most recognised names in Singapore's hardware & DIY trade.We continuously invest in initiatives that strengthen customer trust while protecting our community from online scams and impersonation.

To help customers identify our official communications, we introduced horme.sg as our official short-link domain, replacing third-party URL shorteners commonly used on social media. We have also registered the "HORME" SMS Sender under the Singapore SMS Sender ID Registry (SSIR), making us the first company in Singapore's DIY hardware industry to do so. These measures ensure customers can confidently verify that messages and links genuinely originate from Horme Hardware.
