Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's in the bag(Again) It worked for 2 1/2 years. Then, it broke in the middle of a project. Milwaukee has an excellent warranty on this item. It was repaired and back within a week. And, at no charge. So it's in the bag again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Detail Sander Ever I have had this for a week now, and after playing with it cutting and sanding, I was sold on it. I have been using it for the last 2 days sanding 100 year old moldings, ( yes, I am dealing with lead paint). The detail I can bring back out are amazing. Running it for 5 hours a day, I get 1 hour out of a 1.5 battery, and almost 2 hours using a 2.0. The noise level isn't bad, and vibration isn't an issue. Time will tell how long it will last using it for hours at a time, but if it is like the rest of my M12 tools, I expect to have it a long time. Thanks Milwaukee!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Handy tool but noisy and short life I have had two of these tools and both had a disappointingly short life. Seems they self destruct due to vibration. They are also extremely loud. I found adding the 4AH battery helped a lot with battery life. In short, this tool needs a redesign to make it quieter and more durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from M12 Multi-Tool 2426-20 The list is endless on what I have used this tool for. The tool is only as good as the blades, so get good ones. It is also a great tool for detailed sanding. It is noisy, so wear hearing protection (as all multi-tools are).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Epic Fail Having been until the experience with this tool pretty darn brand loyal to Milwaukee, this tool is an epic fail on all work medium duty and up. Unless being used in soft material the battery will vibrate out of it's hold beginning day one. The hand hold is juvenilely placed on the Motor cooling Vent Holes! Went through three failed batteries and one failed tool in three work hours of use - Too bad the use began after of the manufacturers money back period. Absolutely disgusted after today when I tried contacting marketing and product engineering to help them to improve the design as this tool concept does have great potential in broader market segments. In the mid 80's I have designed a product for Snap-On tools which made them famous for pioneering and dominating the best line of such a product . Only wanting to help by my call to Milwaukee, I was told to go through legal and that I couldn't be routed to or given a referral to anyone at all. !Since they did not advertise this tool as a light duty only tool, They should issue an open extended period money back guarantee to all who used this tool without satisfaction! And It should be advertised as a light duty tool. Don't think that customer service will give you a tool credit either. They are offering to recondition and return the same unit which will never be better than its design - useless in anything above light duty work.
